Nearly two thousand licensed Sydney builders, and every one of them has a council.

Quoting

The takeoff is already measured. You confirm it and apply your rates.

A scope arrives with every line measured off the drawings: quantity, unit, and what it was derived from. You are not reading a set at 9pm working out how many square metres of tiling there are. You are checking someone else's measure and applying your prices.

Your rates, set once

Set your labour rate and material markup per trade, once. Every quote after that uses your numbers, not ours. You can override any line.

Priced against a benchmark, line by line

Every line shows where you sit.

InsideAboveBelow

Every line shows the sourced benchmark for that trade, in that council, this month. Not to hold you to it. So you can see instantly where you sit, and so the homeowner can see that a higher line has a reason rather than assuming it does not.

What a quote carries

Everything the homeowner needs to compare it, held on the line it belongs to.

  • Labour quantity, unit, rate and total per line
  • Material quantity, unit, rate and total per line
  • Assumptions, exclusions and unknowns held per line, not buried in a cover note
  • Provisional items flagged and kept out of the headline total
  • Your margin, with a switch to show or hide it from the client
  • A summary of works, a start date, a duration in weeks and a validity date
  • Breakdown or total pricing mode, per line

Give the client the project, not a PDF and a phone number.

Invite a homeowner into the project and they get the scope, the costs and the quote in one place, with the ability to comment on any line. You stop being the channel for every question.

What the invite carries

Invite by email, with or without edit rights. They claim it in a browser. No account for them to create before they can see anything, and you can see when they have opened it.

Comments on the line, not in your inbox

A client question sits against the line it is about. You reply on the line. The next person to open the project sees the question, the answer and what changed, which means you are not re-explaining the same variation to three people.

Managing quotes

Every quote, every version, every outcome, in one place.

Draft, sent, revised, accepted, declined, withdrawn. With the reason attached when it is declined, which over time is the most useful thing you own.

Versions, not attachments.

Revise a quote and the previous version is kept as a snapshot. Both sides can see what changed between them.

Decline reasons, recorded.

A declined quote carries why. After twenty of them you can see whether you are losing on price, on timing or on scope.

Margin, yours to control.

Set it per quote, choose whether it applies to provisional items, and choose whether the client sees it.

Validity that expires.

A quote carries a valid-until date, so a price from four months ago is not still being waved at you.

Start quoting

Replying to a scope is free. It always will be.

A homeowner shares a scope, you open it in a browser with no account, price against the lines, revise what you disagree with and reply. No charge, no membership, no pay-per-lead. If you want your own projects, your rate card across jobs and quote management, that is the Business plan.
